Challenge
How can the constraints between driving and flying be eliminated? A wheel that can be used both on the ground and in the air would represent a quantum leap in future mobility.
Invention
The RES-Propeller Wheel is related to a vehicle with wheels, and vice versa, to an aeroplane with propellers. During driving, the RES-Propeller Wheel provides ground contact through a tyre, which acts as a ring-shaped airfoil and delivers thrust during flight. The idea behind the invention is to combine a tyre and a propeller to create a new type of propulsion system.
